The YHA 14 mile trail run takes place on 14 June 2026. The event holds TRA race permit 7715. The course starts with a climb and includes sections that can be slippery, with muddy puddles and chalk descents. Course and facilities

Number collection and event truckers caps are handed out at the YHA cafe before the start. Bottled water is provided at the beginning, there is a water station halfway, and free tea, coffee and cake are available after the finish. Organisers recommend trail shoes and appropriate clothing, water and nutrition for the weather.

Entry, limits and records

Entry is open with a total of 50 places. Non TRA or UKA members pay a £2 entry levy. Entry prices change by date: £17 until 31 Dec 2025, £20 until 31 Mar 2026, and £23 until 31 May 2026. A service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up. No under 18s are allowed to compete. Recorded course best times are 1hr 39m 15s (men, 2023) and 1hr 52m 59s (women, 2021).

Access
