Yeti Winter Trail Series

The Yeti Winter Trail Series is a sequence of four races in Dixon, Illinois, held from December 2025 through March 2026 and totaling 31 miles across the series. Events take place at the Dixon Park District Facility, 1312 Washington Ave, Dixon, IL 61021.

The series distances and dates:

  • 5K - December 6, 2025
  • 10K - January 3, 2026
  • 15K - February 7, 2026
  • 20K - March 7, 2026

Course surfaces include trails, roads, hills, flats, snow, ice, mud, dirt, grass, rocks, and gravel. Entry fees are listed as $20 per individual distance or $80 for the entire series; race day registration is listed at $25. The first 125 registered participants receive a gift. Participants who complete all four races receive a long sleeve tee; five year and ten year repeating participants are eligible for hoodies and jackets. Completing all four races is required to receive the blue shirt.

Awards are based on overall series times and include the top five male and top five female finishers, plus first male and female masters (55+) and grandmasters (65+). Test your grit at Byron Motosports Park with tactical obstacle courses ranging from 5K to 10K endurance laps. Choose from elite vest challenges, weighted rucking, or open waves designed to honor the resilience of first responders.
