Pinetum Mind Games Endurance Event

The event takes place at the Pinetum (upper pine tree loop) in Lowell Park, 2114 Lowell Park Rd, Dixon, IL, on July 17, 2026. Participants repeat a .411 mile paved loop for a set period and may run solo or as part of a three person relay team.

This is a self supported event. Participants are responsible for tracking their own loops on a timing sheet provided at the event start; GPS watches are not allowed for distance tracking. The center of the loop is open for personal tents and individual aid stations. Organizers will have water available; participants must bring other food and liquids they need.

Volunteers will be on site to watch and assist. The loop will be closed to traffic for the event, and the park will remain open to other visitors. Gates to the park close for entry at dusk; leaving after gates close may be restricted. The organizers ask that no pets attend and that participants keep noise down near neighbors.

Timed loop trail races at Lowell Park in Dixon, IL include 33.75-mile and 13.5-mile options plus a relay. Single track loops alternate direction each lap and a staffed aid station provides drinks and snacks.
