Gristmill Grind 10K

The Gristmill Grind 10K is a challenging trail race held annually at Franklin Creek State Park in Franklin Grove, Illinois. Known as one of the most difficult 10Ks in the area, the course features technical trails with approximately 800 feet of elevation gain, multiple hill climbs, and four creek crossings. Participants can also take part in a rucking category for added challenge.

The event includes a scenic 1-mile walk along the Black Bass trail, showcasing the park’s natural beauty. Water stations are available, but runners must bring their own cups to reduce environmental impact. Proceeds support the Franklin Creek Conservation Association.
