The course is a 2.25 mile loop run in alternating directions each lap, using single track in the woods with a few paved road crossings. Each lap has about 166 feet of elevation gain. Lap counting is manual at the start/finish; participants must ensure volunteers verify each lap before continuing.
The aid station is located at the start/finish and will provide water, coffee, and essential snacks. In 2025 the aid station included a variety of hot and cold food items, and participants may bring contributions to share.
Awards are given to male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for both the 314 and 806 distances, and a 1st overall award is given for relay teams. Registration fees are nonrefundable and registrations are not transferable. Registration closes March 26 at 11:59 PM CT.
