Overview

The XC Summer Series is a weekly cross country 5K series in Parsippany, New Jersey, running from Tuesday, April 28 to Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The series comprises a total of 14 Tuesday-night races. Select Tuesdays are off: May 11; July 7 and 14; August 4 and 11. September 1 is the final race of the series.

The course uses the old Greystone complex, now called Central Park, which is part of Morris County Parks and is a site for high school cross country meets. The series aims to introduce cross country running to a broad audience; the course is open to all ages and abilities, and walkers are welcome.

Format and fees

Participants receive a race chip and accurate timing each week. Races occur rain or shine. After-race refreshments are provided. No shirts or weekly awards will be given.

Day-of payment options include cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. Day-of prices: youth (high school age or younger) $8 per night or $50 for the entire series; adults $10 per night or $85 for the entire series.
