The 48th Annual Woods and Lakes Run takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey.

Location & Course

The start and finish is on the beach at Birchwood Lake. The course is described as a scenic, mostly flat loop through woods and around lakes. Running surfaces include macadam walkways, gravel paths, and wooded trails. The description notes there may be mud, logs, and other obstacles on the route.

Distances

Participants can choose between two races:

  • A 10K run.
  • A 5K run.

Both races start simultaneously.

Registration & Eligibility

Registration is open to men and women aged 30 and over. There is a standard registration fee, with complimentary entry for participants aged 70 and over. Race day registration is available.
