Worthington Early Summer 5K Running Series

The Worthington Early Summer 5K Running Series is a weekly cross-country race series held at Worthington Winery in Somers, Connecticut. The series runs on Wednesdays from June 3 to July 1, 2026. Each event is a 5 kilometer trail race over natural terrain.

The course passes through backwoods and vineyard areas and includes views of ponds and the property’s covered bridge. The route follows uneven and mountainous ground typical of cross-country trails. A tasting room is available at the venue.

Registration opens April 30, 2026. Registration closes on each event date: June 3, June 10, June 17, June 24, and July 1, 2026. There is no registration fee listed.

Participants are advised to use comfortable trail running shoes and to carry a water bottle. The series is organized as repeated weekly events at the same location and distance.
