2026 World Help Turkey Wobble

The World Help Turkey Wobble is a Thanksgiving morning athletic event held in Huntington Beach, California. This event serves as a fundraiser to provide clean drinking water to global communities in need through the organization World Help. The proceeds contribute to the construction of water wells, which help prevent waterborne illnesses and allow children to attend school rather than collecting water.

Participants can choose from several distances along the coastline:

  • 1 km
  • 5 km
  • 10 km

The course is located on the sand of the multipurpose path, starting at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard. The routes are flat out-and-back paths that pass several landmarks, including the Huntington Beach Pier, the outdoor Surf Museum, and Main Street. Participants experience the ocean breeze and beach scenery throughout the activity.

The event is open to various participants, including families with strollers. Registration options include individual sign-ups and team entries. There is no advance packet pickup; participants collect their race numbers and shirts at the check-in area on the morning of the event. In the case of rain, the organizers may transition the race to a virtual format, with a decision communicated by noon on the day prior to the event. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the start area and on nearby streets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
