INTO the WILD OC Trail Run

INTO the WILD is a trail event on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Saddleback Wilderness, 3066 Santiago Cyn Rd, Orange, CA 92869. The field is limited to 150 runners and parking is limited to 100 cars. The race distance is 5k (3.6 miles). The noted registration fee is $45 until 7/14/26 and there is no race day registration.

The course follows fire roads and single track with approximately 300 ft of elevation gain. There is one aid station at mile 1.3 providing water and electrolyte. The event is cupless; participants are recommended to bring a reusable cup such as a HydraPak Speedcup or a handheld. Course maps and a GPX file are provided for navigation. Pre-running the course is not allowed unless it occurs on wilderness access days or as part of docent led activities; unauthorized access may jeopardize the ability to offer these events.
