Rockin' Summer 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Whittier Narrows
The Rockin' Summer races take place on July 19, 2026 at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in South El Monte, CA (750 Santa Anita Ave). The event is held on an open park trail and consists of marked out-and-back loops. Participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the trail.

An aid station is located at the turnaround at the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Course maps are provided for the 5k and the half marathon. Parking at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area is charged per vehicle, with a reduced rate for seniors and disabled drivers.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos tied to bibs, free videos and cinematic race highlight reels, live results at the moment of finish, trophies and achievement badges, an event app to track races, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Group discounts are available for multi-person registrations. Transfers are permitted by prior arrangement and there is a no refund policy.
