Woodland Ramble Trail Run
The Woodland Ramble Trail Run is a timed 5K trail race held at Coogan Farm in Mystic, Connecticut, organized in collaboration with Kelley's Pace and the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. The course passes through high meadows, woods, and fields on the Coogan Farm and Nature Center properties. The 2027 edition is the second running of this event and the field is capped at 150 participants.
Packet pick up is available on race day. A separate walk called the Ramble occurs at the same location and requires independent registration with the Nature Center.
Entry fees are tiered by date and listed as follows: $31 until May 14, $36 from May 15 to June 4, and $41 on race day with online registration only; no paper registrations will be accepted. Youth pricing applies: ages 6 to 10 pay $20 regardless of registration date, and ages 5 and under may attend free. Registration opens July 1, 2026.
On-site amenities after the event include an awards ceremony, light food and drinks, and opportunities to meet the Nature Center animal ambassadors. Strollers and other equipment are not allowed on the trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
