Wobbly Bridge Rathdrum

Wobbly Bridge Rathdrum is an Irish Mountain Running Association event held near Rathdrum in County Wicklow on 24 June 2026. Registration is at The Lakehouse, Splash Valley, Rathdrum. The course runs through Ballygannon Woods and Clara Vale nature reserve north of Rathdrum and starts in the picnic area in Ballygannon Wood.

The event offers multiple route options and includes some ups and downs on mostly forgiving trails. The long and short courses both cross the Samuel Hayes bridge. Only major junctions on the route are marked. GPS devices are not allowed. The event is part of the Trail League Leinster and carries an event difficulty rating of 4, describing easy terrain with under 200 m ascent in the 6 km to 10 km category.

Mandatory kit is Level A basic, specifically a showerproof windproof jacket; runners must have the means to carry required kit. Failure to carry required items may result in denied entry or disqualification. There is limited parking at Splash Valley due to construction; additional parking is available in Ashford or at Rathdrum Memorial Park. Parking is also provided at the race start in Ballygannon Woods, with a walk of approximately 5 to 10 minutes to registration.

A fully marked mountain run on Bray Head in County Wicklow with a 7.66 km main route (342 m climb) and a 4.00 km junior course; varied terrain, mandatory Level B kit, GPS allowed, entry limited to 250.

Tibradden in County Dublin on 29 April 2026 features fully marked mountain running routes of 9.90 km and 4.50 km with 365 m climb on the main course. Level B mandatory kit is required and GPS is not allowed.
