Wine 4 Wildlife 4-Miler, Goodview VA

The event takes place on July 11, 2026 at Fables and Feathers vineyards, 2117 Bruno Drive, Goodview, VA 24095. There are in-person and virtual formats connected to the vineyard setting and the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center.

The in-person route is a four mile course that winds in and around the vines and property at Fables and Feathers. The course uses the vineyard grounds and adjacent property rather than traditional road or track settings.

The event includes a prediction run in which overall male and female winners are determined by closest finish time to each participant's predicted finish. Participants who wish to be eligible for prediction prizes leave watches, phones, and other timing devices at the start line and must indicate before race day whether they will compete in the prediction challenge. Prizes are provided by Hoka and Fables and Feathers Winery.

All finishers receive a limited edition wine-stopper medal. Presenting the medal at the tasting room is valid for one free glass of Fables and Feathers wine. Additional tastings and purchases are available onsite, the tasting room will remain open later for the event, and event merchandise is available for purchase. The event coincides with a Christmas in July activity at the winery; displaying festive Santa gear can earn a twenty dollar store credit.
