Event Overview

The Wildflower Trail Races is a two-day running event held in May at Bastrop State Park, Texas. The courses use a single-track trail system in the Texas Hill Country, with varied terrain including pine forests, sandy sections, rock, rolling climbs, and descents. The route passes through areas affected by a 2011 forest fire and showcases the regrowth of the Lost Pines.

For 2026, the event introduces a new start/finish area and new distances or routes. Races take place on both Saturday and Sunday, offering a wide range of distances for running and rucking. The event also includes a family walk and kids run.
