Autumn Harvest Trail Running Event

The Autumn Harvest Run takes place at Lake Bastrop North Shore and South Shore Parks in Central Texas. The event features a variety of trail distances through a landscape of towering pines and lakeside views. The courses consist of a mix of single-track and wider trails with rolling terrain and moderate elevation changes.

Participants can choose from several event distances:

  • 12 HR Endurance Run
  • Marathon (26.2 miles)
  • Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)
  • 10K
  • 5K

The trails are well-marked for both day and low-light conditions. For those running during darker hours, the organizers use reflective trail markers and glow sticks at key intersections. Safety requirements for night running include a mandatory headlamp with fresh batteries, a personal hydration system, and a cell phone.

Registration includes a finisher medal and custom challenge coins for all participants. Packet pickup is located at Lake Bastrop North Shore Park on the morning of the event. Spectators and support crews who are not registered for the race are required to pay a park entry fee to access the North Shore and South Shore areas. Aid stations are situated along the route to support runners throughout the day and evening. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
