Event Overview

This running event takes place at Dalkeith Country Park, a privately owned 1000-acre estate located south of Edinburgh. The event area is outside the park's palace, with running on paths and trails through woodland on the estate.

Distances and Format

Participants can enter as solo competitors. The event features "Wild Ruck Runs," where competitors run a trail with a weighted pack. Two distances are offered:

  • 5 km trail run with a pack.
  • 10 km trail run with a pack.

For the ruck runs, men must carry a 10 kg pack and women a 7 kg pack. Competitors must bring their own pack, which will be weighed at registration.
