Course and Location
The course is a loop within Wawayanda State Park, featuring a mix of trail types including double-wide trails, singletrack, technical sections with rocks and roots, wood plank boardwalks, and some road. The 100.25-mile course has approximately 11,275 feet of elevation gain. The event is held at Wawayanda Lake.
Additional Event Features
Free camping is available for participants, pacers, and crew on Friday and Saturday nights. The event includes a Friday schedule with a panel discussion, a pre-race meeting, and a film screening. The event supports the non-profit partner Bigger Than The Trail, which advocates for mental health.
Participants in the 100-mile and 36-hour events must complete 8 hours of trail work or race volunteering within a specified period or make a charity donation. Pacers are allowed for 100M/36H/100K/50M participants after sunset, and for all athletes over age 60 or athletes with disabilities at any time.
