Event Overview

The XC Summer Series is a weekly series of thirteen 5K cross country races. It is organized by ARQ NJ Trail Series and takes place on Tuesday nights from late April to late July in 2026. The series features two event categories: Adult 5K and Child 5K.

Course Information

The course is located at Central Park in Parsippany, New Jersey, which is part of the Morris County Parks system. This site occupies the former Greystone complex and is a venue for high school cross country meets.

Participation and Registration

The series aims to introduce cross country running. It is open to all ages and ability levels, and walkers are welcome. Registration is available online for the entire series or for individual races on the day of the event.

  • Adult 5K: Online series registration costs $85. Single-race registration on the day is $10.
  • Child 5K (for high school age and younger): Online series registration costs $50. Single-race registration on the day is $8. Payment methods on race day include cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.

Additional Details
