Wild Earth Coastal High
The Wild Earth Coastal High is a trail running event held in the Gold Coast Hinterland, using trails within Lamington National Park and Springbrook National Park, both noted as World Heritage areas. The course uses a mix of terrain including sub-tropical rainforest, open forest and cliff top sections, and passes through the Numinbah Valley to finish adjacent to Purlingbrook Falls in Springbrook National Park.
Two race distances are offered:
- 28 km
- 50 km
One race option is presented as the "Crunch" and follows a route that includes an uphill start, a long descent to Numinbah, the stairs to Apple Tree Park, a descent to Little Nerang Creek, and a long ascent past Purlingbrook Falls to the finish at Springbrook. Race entry includes a personalised technical race tee or a singlet option if entered before June 4, free race photos in 2026, bus transfer, aid stations, electronic timing, partner discounts, a finishers medal, and a surprise finishers gift provided on race day.
The event is listed as Round 3 of a Triple Crown series. Competitors can register for the full series for a discounted entry fee and a Trail Trips gift. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
