Wicked Wine Run - Buffalo

Event Overview

The Wicked Wine Run is held at Liberty Vineyard & Winery, a family-owned farm with six generations of history growing grapes in Sheridan, New York. The venue cultivates 14 grape varieties across 93 acres and has an on-site winery. The event takes place on July 18, 2026.

Distances

• 5K: A run/walk event. Participants receive a 2026 event shirt, an event bib, access to the after party, a "Sick Finisher Medal," and a free glass of wine at the finish line.
• 1K: A tasting walk. Participants receive a 2026 event shirt, an event bib, access to the after party, three 1oz wine tastings along the course, and a fourth tasting at the finish line in a personal wine glass.

Course & Event Features

The 5K has a 90-minute time limit to complete the course. There will be water stations along the 5K course. The 1K walk includes planned stops at three wine sampling stations. There is an after party with music, games, food trucks, and wine available for purchase. Dance and costume contests are held where participants can win event swag or bottles of wine. Separate spectator tasting-only tickets can be purchased at the event.

Logistics

Parking is available on-site and may cost up to $20 per vehicle. Pre-event packet pickup is available the day before the event. A $5 fee applies for race day packet pickup. For a $20 fee, race packets can be delivered to a participant's home, available until two weeks before the event. On event day, gates open at 10:00 AM.
