The venue is a family-owned farm with a winemaking operation that dates back nearly 150 years and currently cultivates 14 grape varieties across 93 acres; an on-site winery opened in 2008.

The event offers two distance options:

Ticket inclusions differ by distance. 1K tickets include an event shirt, an event bib, three 1 oz wine tastings along the course and a fourth tasting at the finish served in a wine glass, plus access to the after party. 5K tickets include an event shirt, a finisher medal, a free glass of wine at the finish, an event bib, and access to the after party.

On-site amenities and logistics include packet pickup with a $5 race day pickup fee per packet if not picked up beforehand, an optional packet delivery service for $20 available until two weeks prior, food trucks, merch, games, and music.
