Event Details

The Centaur Stride Trail Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026. It takes place at the Centaur Stride Horseback Riding Facility, located at 8488 Jones Road in Sherman, New York.

Distances

The event offers three distances:

  • Trail Run 5K
  • Trail Run 1K
  • Virtual 5K

The 1K and 5K courses are held on the trails of the 63-acre facility.

Registration and Fees

Pre-registration is available until August 29th for $20. Registration on the day of the event (September 12th) from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM costs $25. An official event t-shirt can be pre-ordered by August 15th for $15. T-shirts will not be available for purchase after this date or on the event day.

Participant Information

All participants receive a completion medal. A clock will be running at the finish line for runners to note their own time.

Event Host

The run is hosted by the Centaur Stride Therapeutic Riding Facility, a nonprofit organization. Funds raised support the facility's operating costs, allowing it to continue providing therapeutic and recreational services in Chautauqua County.
