The White Lake Ultras take place at White Lake State Park in Tamworth, New Hampshire. The event offers these timed race options:
- 24-hour
- 12-hour
- 6-hour
No pacers are allowed. Friends may register for the 6-hour or 12-hour events to run together. Costumes are encouraged.
Course and logistics
The course is a roughly 2-mile single-track loop around the forested lakefront with one short section of beach and a short section of sidewalk. Each loop has approximately 50 feet of vertical ascent. The start/finish area and aid station are located on the beach.
The event is cupless: participants must bring their own hydration system (bottle, cup, vest, etc.) because aid stations will not provide disposable cups. The beach near the start/finish has space for runners to set up gear and be with their crew. Camping is available for Friday and Saturday nights and can be purchased through the event store; if a campsite is left set up on Saturday night a camping permit must be purchased, but no payment is required for Saturday night if the campsite is empty.
