The Royal (multi) Mile Hill Run

The Royal (multi) Mile Hill Run is a 5K trail race held on September 20, 2026 at 60 Loon Mountain Rd, Lincoln, New Hampshire, as part of the final day of athletics competition at the 51st Annual NH Highland Games. The course uses dirt trails, service roads, and ski trails and includes 800 ft of elevation gain.

Registration opens October 9, 2025 and closes September 19, 2026. The listed registration fee is $55.00. Each participant receives a race shirt, a coupon for a Scotch Ale redeemable at the event tent for those aged 21 and over, and an Adult Sunday Highland Games ticket valued at $45. Participants who already hold a Weekend or Sunday pass may obtain a race registration discount through the event organizers.

There is no parking at Loon during the Highland Games. Participants are directed to take Exit 32 off I-93 and proceed east on Route 112 to designated parking areas; shuttle buses will transfer participants to the Highland Games grounds. Spectators must hold a Highland Games ticket to access the grounds.
