About the race
The Cirque Series event at Cannon Mountain takes place in Franconia, New Hampshire on 06/12/2027. The course is a trail race of 6.9 miles with approximately 3,080 feet of vertical gain. Multiple divisions run the same distance, including Sport, Expert, Pro, and a Volunteer category.
Registration opens 08/05/2026 and closes 06/12/2027; the field is capped at 500 entries. Paid race divisions list a registration fee of $99; volunteer registration is free. Timing is done with a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib; athletes may dispose of the chip and bib after the race.
Prizes are awarded at the end of each race and for overall season standings. Pro division awards cash; Expert and Sport divisions award gear. Additional recognitions include a youngest competitor award, an oldest competitor award, an unofficial MVP award, and a middle of the pack award. Top 20 finishers in each event earn points toward the overall 2027 season standings, and finishers who complete six 2027 Cirque Series races receive a PEAK FREAK 2027 belt buckle.
Event support includes Skratch hydration at an aid station and the finish area. Lodging is suggested at Old Colony Ski Club.
