The Weymouth Woods 25K/50K Trail Run takes place on April 4, 2026, in Southern Pines, North Carolina, at Weymouth Woods - Sandhills Nature Preserve (1024 N Fort Bragg Road, Southern Pines, NC 28387). The event offers the following distances:
- 50K : entry fee $85 (price increases after December 31, 2025)
- 25K : entry fee $70 (price increases after December 31, 2025)
Course and logistics
The course uses trails with roots and sand under a canopy of long leaf pine trees. A well-stocked aid station will be located at the start/finish. This is a cupless event; runners must provide their own bottles, flasks, or reusable cups. There is space for small personal aid stations, chairs, or drop bags.
All registered runners receive a t-shirt; all finishers receive a finisher's medal. T-shirts will not be mailed if a runner does not attend the event. There are no refunds and deferments are handled on a case-by-case basis. Runners who register by March 8, 2026 are guaranteed their requested t-shirt size. Electronic timing will be provided by Clockwork Race Timing. All proceeds will be donated to Friends of Weymouth Woods.
In accordance with Governor's Executive Order #210 (April 29, 2021), outdoor gatherings are restricted to 200 people; face masks are not required for outdoor activities per that order. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
