Course and format

The event was set to use three neighboring parks in Webster, NY, with different trail styles in each park. Trails include open fields, wooded single track, bridges, and sections with notable elevation change. One section passes through old growth forest on the Big Woods Trail, with a loop of a large field and a return via the Meadow Trail. Connector trails link Webster Park, Whiting Road Nature Preserve, and Gosnell Big Woods Preserve.

Aid and logistics

There was to be one aid station located roughly at the halfway point in the Big Field section of Gosnell Big Woods Preserve. The aid station was cup-free; participants were advised to carry a bottle for refilling. The start and finish were planned near a shelter on Holt Road in Webster Park.
