Webster Trail Classic

This event takes place in three neighboring parks in Webster, New York: Webster Park, Whiting Road Nature Preserve, and Gosnell Big Woods Preserve. Each park offers a different trail style and a distinct section of the course, including open fields, wooded single track, bridges, and old growth forest.

The course begins and ends in Webster Park and uses connector trails between parks. The Whiting Road Nature Preserve contains varied terrain and the most elevation change on the course. The Gosnell Big Woods Preserve includes the Big Woods Trail, a loop around the Big Field, and the Meadow Trail before returning toward the finish. The 3.5 mile route remains within Webster Park on a route similar to the park portion of the longer course.

There will be one aid station located roughly at the halfway point in the Big Field section of the Gosnell Big Woods Preserve. That aid station is cup free; water is available at the start and finish area. Distances are approximate: participants should expect between 9 and 11 miles for the longer route and roughly 3.1 to 4 miles for the shorter route.

The kids fun run covers about one mile, starts and finishes at the same location as the other runs, and includes some field sections and a short stretch of single track. Anyone under 10 needs to have an accompanying adult.
