Watershed 5K
The Watershed 5K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The course goes through the neighborhood and on trails around the school. The start and finish location is The Watershed School at 4975 Decathlon Avenue in Fairbanks, Alaska. This location is off Broadmoor Avenue and near the airport. Parking is available in the school parking lot.
All funds raised from the event go to the Watershed School PTSA. The funds support school activities such as books for the library, the Battle of the Books, an All-School Ski Day, and teacher appreciation events.
On the same day, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, there is an All You Can Eat Sourdough Pancake & Sausage Fundraiser for 3rd and 4th grade. The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for kids, with a $1 discount for runners wearing their race bibs. The event is also held at the school.
