The event takes place at Solitude Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon on June 24. In-person registration is held at Entrance #1 at the Moonbeam Lodge. Parking is at Entrance #1 Moonbeam Lodge and facilities include restrooms in the Snowsports Academy on the parking lot level to the left of the stairs and clock tower.

Distances:

  • Short Course: 4.97 miles, 881 ft elevation gain.
  • Long Course: 7.0 miles, 1186 ft elevation gain.

Both courses start on a dirt road next to the Moonbeam Express ski lift and follow a mix of dirt roads and singletrack. Route names encountered include Mother Lode, Cobalt Cruiser, Serenity Trail, Raptor Road, Kruzr, and Up and About. The course passes a wooden bridge and a round house before returning to the finish.

The event program includes a yoga session and a DJ dance party with a live DJ. Food and beverages are available from Little Dollie’s Restaurant on site. Dogs are not permitted in the canyon and it is illegal to leave a dog unattended in a vehicle in the canyon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
