Event overview
The Wasatch 100 is a point-to-point ultramarathon of 100 miles held in Utah each year the first Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. The route runs from East Mountain Wilderness Park above Kaysville to the Pavilion at Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park near Midway. The course has a cumulative elevation gain of approximately 24,000 feet and a cumulative loss of approximately 23,300 feet.
Course and support
The course traverses the central Wasatch Mountains, passing notable features including Francis Peak, Farmington Flats, Arthur's Fork, Sessions Ridge, City Creek Pass, Big Mountain Pass, Bald Mountain, Lambs Canyon, Mill Creek Canyon, Dog and Desolation Lakes, the Wasatch Crest trail to Brighton, Katherine and Sunset Passes, American Fork Canyon, Pole Line and Baker Passes, Mill Creek Peak, the Glide and the Plunge, Pot Hollow Canyon, Cummings Parkway, Cascade Springs Road, Decker Canyon, and the Deer Creek Reservoir Trail before the finish at Soldier Hollow.
