Course and logistics
The 50 Miler is a point-to-point course starting at Wilderness Park in Kaysville and finishing at Tunnel Springs Park. It uses trails (71%), service roads (24%), and about 2.5 miles of paved road. The 50-mile course lists approximately 10,490 feet of ascent and 10,194 feet of descent, with elevation ranging from 4,657 to 9,361 feet. The 55K follows much of the 50-mile route, includes a climb to Bountiful Peak, and lists about 7,800 feet of ascent. The 25K covers the final ~15 miles of the other courses with about 2,238 feet of ascent and has one aid station.
Pacers are allowed for the 50M and 55K at specified aid stations and must wear a pacer bib. Drop bags are allowed at designated locations for the 50M and 55K but not for the 25K. Entry fees are non-refundable; a 50% credit toward the next year may be issued if requested at least 30 days before the race, subject to the stated conditions.
