DC Peaks 50 - October 3, 2026

DC Peaks is a point-to-point ultra running event in Davis County, Utah, with multiple distance options. The course starts at Wilderness Park in Kaysville and finishes at Tunnel Springs Park in North Salt Lake, using local trails and service roads.

  • 50 Miler - point-to-point, ~10,490 ft gain, ~10,194 ft descent
  • 55K - ~7,800 ft gain, includes climb to Bountiful Peak
  • 25K - final ~15 miles of the longer courses, ~2,238 ft gain

The route surface is approximately 71% singletrack trails, 24% service roads, and 2.5 miles of paved road. Elevations on the courses range from about 4,657 ft to 9,361 ft. The 55K route shares much of the 50 mile course and features a notable descent on the Zig Zag trail into Mueller Park. The 25K follows the same final segment used by the longer races and has one aid station.

Pacers are permitted for the 50M and 55K at specified aid stations; pacers must wear a pacer bib obtained by the runner at packet pickup, with a limited supply available at aid stations. Drop bags are allowed at designated locations depending on distance. Entry fees are nonrefundable; a 50% credit toward the following year may be issued for cancellation requests submitted at least 30 days before the race, and credits are tied to the registrant email and nontransferable. The top male and female finishers in the 50 Miler receive a comped entry into the 2026 Bear 100. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
