Virginia Highlands 3 Day Trail Running Camp

This is a three night, three day trail running camp held at the TRAIL:30 Firefly mountain property near Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. The program combines on-property camping and optional use of three simple tiny cabins with organized group trail runs each morning.

Registration includes camping on the property from Thursday night until Sunday morning. Facilities on site include showers, toilets, running water, electricity, a communal kitchen and refrigerator, and a pond. Cell phone service is very limited or often absent. Food and personal transportation are not included.

Three organized group trail runs are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All runs are optional and participants may choose to run additional miles.

• Friday: 12.5 miles with about 1,800 feet of elevation gain.
• Saturday: 10 miles with about 1,600 feet of elevation gain.
• Sunday: 10 miles with about 1,900 feet of elevation gain.

Tiny cabins are available for an additional fee. The cabins are basic, include a queen mattress (one cabin also has a twin loft), come with a fan and a Jackery power box, and do not have air conditioning. Participants must bring their own sheets, blankets, and pillows for the provided mattresses. Each person sharing a cabin must register individually. Dogs are not allowed.

Participants receive a unisex T-shirt and professional photos, and a GPX route and handbook will be provided before the weekend. Registration closes June 16. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
