The event takes place on June 6, 2026 at EJ Dunn Elementary School Track, 3500 Argyle St, Port Alberni, BC. Organizers acknowledge the event is on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Tseshaht and Hupačasath First Nation.

Distances offered are:

The long course includes about 500 m of vertical gain and four aid stations. The short course includes about 220 m of vertical gain and two aid stations. The kids race is approximately 1 km and registration fees for that race go to the Alberni Valley Rescue Squad.

The event is cupless; participants are expected to use their own drinking container or purchase one at the merchandise tent. Bib pick up is at the registration tent next to the track and requires a government issued photo ID; pick up times are staggered by race category.

There is ample street parking near the venue but participants must not block driveways and must observe No Parking signs. Course maps and Strava routes are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
