Course Details

The route includes a 200 ft climb in the first 2 km, followed by a 1 km descent. The section from 3 km to 4 km is undulating, with a major hill from 4 km to 5 km. The final 3 km is a fast downhill section to the finish line. Registration opens at the tennis club clubhouse next to Mure Hall.

Awards and Charity

Prizes are awarded for the first male and female finishers, with runners-up prizes for second and third places. This is a charity event, with proceeds donated to Scottish Action for Mental Health.

A guided 6 km trail run from Milngavie Train Station using headtorches, following parts of the Clyde Coastal Path and West Highland Way. Social group runs with qualified guides, mandatory trail shoes and a headtorch.

A unique five-hour endurance run set in a medieval village. Runners complete as many laps as possible, starting in daylight and finishing under torchlight. Enter solo, in a pair, or as a team of four, with fancy dress strongly encouraged.

A guided 8 km night trail run from Milngavie Train Station exploring the Clyde Coastal path and West Highland Way. Social pace with a qualified guide, mandatory trail shoes and headtorch, and no dogs or under 18s.

A hill race on 15 April 2026 covering 5.7 km with 380 m of ascent across Fairlie Glen and the summit plateau. Entries are limited to 150, and prizegiving with a hot drink and cake is held at Fairlie Parish Church.
