Up on the Downs

Up on the Downs is a trail running event on 1 March 2026 at Breamore House, Breamore, Fordingbridge SP6 2DF, GB. The event is organised by Tri-Counties Trail Running. The course starts and finishes at Breamore House and runs mainly along trails and country paths. The 10k course measures about 11.5 km. The 10k and half marathon routes are described as being roughly 95% trail, using farmland, footpaths and bridleways. The routes include a few hills. Finisher medals are awarded.

Course and location

The route is mainly on trails and country paths around Salisbury, with sections across farmland, footpaths and bridleways. Parking is provided on a large grass field for competitors. Winter X is a scenic trail run through the Meon Valley and South Downs offering 10, 30, 50 and 70 km routes from Meonstoke. Enjoy marked trails, chip timing, stocked checkpoints, an event tee and post race food and drink.
