Southampton Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course based at The Common, The Avenue, Southampton SO15 7NN. The route starts on the main area of The Common opposite the playground, follows the tree-lined paths of The Common, continues along Cemetery Road and returns to the Common to finish. The start line is on the main flat tarmac path through The Common and the finish line is on the grass area in sight of the start line.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older at the time of the event. The event information lists Earlybird entry prices of £11.24 for adults and £6.00 for children and a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.

Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The site notes there is no parking at The Common and recommends public transport or city centre car parks; multiple pedestrian access points are available. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed. Cycling racks and electric charging points are not available.

Trail routes of 12K, 25K and 50K from Queen Elizabeth Country Park across sections of the South Downs Way with waymarking, aid stations and an event village.

A circular 5 mile trail run around Bembridge passing marshes, Centurions Copse and the coastal path, with trophies in veteran categories and a finisher medal for all.

Family friendly inflatable obstacle run in Bournemouth with untimed 2.5k laps, multiple distances, music zones, a finisher medal and water stations.

A volunteer run 10 mile multi terrain race across the South Downs with mile markers, two water stations and precision chip timing. Finishers get a unique medal and there is a free kids fun run plus homemade cakes at the pavilion.
