Southampton Pretty Muddy 5k
The event is a 5 kilometre obstacle course held on The Common in Southampton, at The Avenue, SO15 7NN. The route starts on the main area of The Common opposite the playground, follows the tree lined paths, continues along Cemetery Road and returns to the Common to finish. The start line is on the main flat tarmac path through The Common and the finish is on the grass area in sight of the start.
Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Wave starts are staggered every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course; groups should choose the same wave time. The event includes obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding; marshals are on hand and participants may skip an obstacle if needed.
Entry fees are listed as Adult £22.49 and Child £12.00. There is a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. A May sale offers a code FLASH30 for 30 percent off entries for 2026 events until 24 May 2026, terms apply.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. There is no parking at The Common; drop off points and city centre car parks are suggested. Blue Badge parking is available via the steward at the large swing gate on Cemetery Road. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and there are no bike racks or electric charging points.
