Umstead 100 Mile Endurance Run

The Umstead 100 Ultra is a 100 mile endurance run held in William B. Umstead State Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. Runners have 30 hours to complete the 100 mile distance. The event also offers a 50 mile option and is presented as an annual race; the 2027 event is the 32nd running and is scheduled for April 3-4, 2027.

Event materials and support include a race schedule, course maps, registration information, accommodations listings for hotels and cabins/tents, volunteer coordination, training and health guidance, awards and results, photos, weather information, and donations. Registration for the 2027 race opens September 16, 2026 at 8pm, with additional registration details to be posted. The event is organized under the North Carolina Ultra Running Association and reported strong volunteer involvement, with 361 volunteers noted for the 2026 race. The Agape 100k + 50k will take place in Fuquay-Varina from Saturday 16 May 2026 to Sunday 17 May 2026. You can run between 50 and 100 kilometers.

A community 2-mile trail run through Briar Chapel on May 19, 2026, organized by the Margaret B. Pollard Booster Club. Entry includes automatic entry into an Apple AirPods drawing; winners receive a certificate and a medal.

Run to Remember in Cary, NC offers in-person and virtual 2, 4, and 6 mile races on the Northwest Cary YMCA greenway to support the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Finishers receive a medal and gift and course records may earn a prize.
