Common Rush Trail Run

The Common Rush Trail Run takes place at Harris Lake County Park in New Hill, North Carolina. This event marks the fifth year of the race, which is held in a 680-acre park operated by Wake County. The park is situated on a peninsula within Harris Lake, providing various natural landscapes for the course.

Participants traverse a terrain that includes mellow single-track paths, forested areas, and open fields. The park contains approximately 20 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as ponds and disc golf facilities. The routes provide views of the lake throughout the run.

The event offers two distinct distances for participants:

  • 10 Mile trail race

The park is located in the southwest corner of Wake County. Registration for both distances occurs during a designated window in late December and early January. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
