UltraTrax Wisp takes place at Wisp Resort in McHenry, Maryland on April 11, 2026. The event offers loop options of 7, 14, 21, and 28 miles. Course and logistics
The route begins at the resort base and climbs via wooded ski runs, service roads, and double-track connectors. It weaves onto single-track sections and passes through the Fork Run Recreation Area before reaching an exposed ridge that overlooks Deep Creek Lake. Descents return runners via freeride-flow trails and ski-trail connectors into the village base area. The course is described as well marked, with on-course staff and medical support. Participants may add a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck for additional finisher recognition.
