Ragnar Trail Appalachians

Ragnar Trail Appalachians takes place August 7-8, 2026 at Big Bear Camplands, Big Bear Lake in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. The event runs as an overnight team relay across trail loops in a forested setting.

The course uses three tree-lined trails that weave through dense stands of ferns and tall pines. The event lists a total of 117 miles for the relay, with 14.6 miles per runner on average and 427 feet of elevation gain. Course scenery emphasizes lush fern and pine forests.
