UltraTrax Greek Peak
UltraTrax at Greek Peak is a single-day endurance walk in Cortland, NY on May 1, 2027. Participants choose from multiple distances and aim to complete their chosen distance within a 10 hour finish window.
Available distances

- 14 miles
- 21 miles
- 28 miles
The course is organized as a 7 mile loop with 1,480 feet of elevation gain per loop. Completing one loop earns a commemorative patch; finishing three or four loops qualifies participants for the Grey Wolf medal. Walkers may choose to carry additional weight options of 10, 20, or 35 pounds for a ruck challenge.
The route runs through quiet forest singletrack and shaded hardwood woods, with rolling ridgelines, creek-cut hollows, and pockets of open trail that offer glimpses across the Finger Lakes foothills. Loops finish back at the trailhead after a steady ridge descent.
Support and logistics include professionally timed tracking, well-marked trails, volunteers at key intersections, and aid stations roughly every 2.5 to 3 miles stocked with water, electrolytes, snacks, and toilets. Each participant receives a trail pack with functional items, a finisher shirt, and other commemorative swag. The event takes place in spring and lists Greek Peak Mountain Resort as nearby lodging.
