UltraTrax Greek Peak
UltraTrax Greek Peak takes place on May 9, 2026 in Cortland, NY at Greek Peak. The event uses a roughly 7 mile loop with varied terrain and about 1,480 ft of elevation gain per loop. The route follows shaded single-track, creek-cut hollows, steady ridge climbs, and pockets of open trail with glimpses across the Finger Lakes foothills. The loop begins and finishes at the trailhead near the base of Greek Peak after a ridge descent.
Participants choose one of four distances:
- 7 miles one loop, Level 1
- 14 miles two loops, Level 2
- 21 miles three loops, Level 3
- 28 miles four loops, Level 4
Walkers may go unweighted or carry a vest or ruck weighing 10, 20, or 35 lb. All distances must be completed within 10 hours to earn finisher patches; Level 3 and Level 4 also qualify for the Grey Wolf medal. Registration includes a finisher shirt and commemorative patch, with additional swag available for weighted participants.
The course is professionally timed, clearly marked, and staffed with volunteers and aid points. Finish area amenities include food, cold drinks, base camp facilities, and professional photos. Complimentary onsite parking is available. Bibs can be mailed or picked up; registrations are non refundable but may be transferred for a fee.
