UltraTrax Greek Peak - Event overview
UltraTrax Greek Peak is a timed outdoor trek taking place on May 9, 2026, at Greek Peak in Cortland, New York (2000 State Route 392). The route follows shaded single-track, creek-cut valleys, and steady ridge climbs with occasional views across the Finger Lakes foothills. The course is described as a loop trail across wooded terrain and will be very well marked.
Participants choose from these distances:
- 7 miles
- 14 miles
- 21 miles
- 28 miles
The event is timed rather than a race; participants have 10 hours to complete the course. Level 3 and Level 4 participants may earn the UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal by completing the course within that time. Finishers receive a custom t-shirt and a velcro patch. Adding a weighted vest or ruck in 10, 20, or 35 lb increments unlocks bonus finisher swag.
Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. If registration occurs after April 21, 2026, bibs must be picked up in person; a friend or relative may pick up a bib on behalf of a participant. Complimentary onsite parking is available. Refreshments and food are provided after the trek, and a post-trek gathering will follow.
A portion of proceeds is donated to the Conservation Lands Foundation. Onsite activities such as zip lines, a waterpark, and a mountain coaster are available to spectators and participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
