Greek Peak UltraTrax takes place May 9, 2026 in Cortland, NY, at Greek Peak Mountain Resort. The event uses a 7-mile loop with about 1,480 ft of elevation gain per loop. Participants may choose from the following distances:

  • 7 miles - one loop
  • 14 miles - two loops
  • 21 miles - three loops
  • 28 miles - four loops

Participants may walk unweighted or carry added weight options of 10, 20, or 35 pounds. All distances must be completed within 10 hours to earn the event patch. Level 3 and Level 4 finishers receive the Grey Wolf Medal. Posted entry fees vary by level and by date.

Course and services

The route follows shaded single-track, creek-cut hollows, rolling ridgelines, and pockets of open trail with views across the Finger Lakes foothills. The course starts at the base of Greek Peak, finishes back at the trailhead after a ridge descent, and includes a mix of singletrack, ridgeline, and fire roads. The course is professionally timed, clearly marked, and staffed with volunteers at key intersections and aid points. Event amenities include a trail pack with a commemorative patch and finisher shirt, professional photography, base camp food and cold drinks, and additional swag for vest or ruck participants.
