The 100 km route is a figure of 8 made up of west and east loops that pass through varied landscapes and sites of local history. The route is fully signed with pink arrows and glow-sticks for night sections, and GPS tracking is available through the event app. The timing system scans at rest stops and progress is logged by a central Control Room.
Catering includes snacks every 12.5 km and meals every 25 km, energy drinks, hot finishers meals, and options for dietary requirements. Medical support includes doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists, and massage teams, plus self help blister supplies and mobile emergency teams. Camping packages include a circa 50 km campsite for rest on the two day 100 km option, with showers and chill out areas.
