Gower Peninsula Ultra Challenge
The event takes place on 18-19 July 2026 in the Gower Peninsula, South Wales, with basecamp in the grounds of Penrice Castle. The route uses a figure-of-8 format based at Penrice, and distances are available for walkers, joggers, and runners. Event categories include Ultra March (walking target times), a new Trailblazerz option for faster runners, and a Solo Challenger start option. Camping, transfers, and parking are provided at the basecamp.
The organiser provides route signing and GPS tracking via an event app, marquee-covered rest stops, medical and massage teams, and a timing system that logs progress at rest stops. Food and drink are supplied on the course, and finishers receive a medal, a T-shirt, and a finishers meal.
