The Gower Peninsula Ultra Challenge takes place on 18-19 July 2026 on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The event uses Penrice Castle grounds as its basecamp and offers weekend camping. Routes use a figure-of-8 layout for the longer options and return to Penrice basecamp.

- 100 km - figure-of-8 route (west + east loops), ~2200 m climb
- 75 km - figure-of-8, ~1550 m climb
- 50 km - west or east loop options, ~1200 m or ~1000 m climb
- Marathon (42 km) - ~900 m elevation
- 25 km - ~550 m elevation
- 10 km - ~250 m climb
Camping is available at Penrice Castle basecamp for single- and multi-day options.
Support, services and safety
The event provides rest stops every ~12.5 km with major stops ~25 km apart. Rest stops include marquee cover, catering, medical and welfare tents, seating and changing areas. Food and drink are included: snacks at regular stops, a meal approximately every 25 km, energy drinks, dietary options, lighter choices for runners, and a hot finisher meal. Medical provision includes doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists, massage teams, and mobile emergency medical teams supported by a 24-hour control room. The route is signed and supported by GPS tracking via an event app. Participants receive a medal, finisher T-shirt, a glass of fizz, and an official certificate.

Options include self-funded places, charity-funded places, Ultra March (walking target category), and Trailblazerz (faster runners). Published self-fund registration fees (example): 100 km £199, 75 km £169, 50 km £139, 25 km £89, 10 km £39.
