Tywarnhayle 10K 2026

Tywarnhayle 10K is a multi terrain race organised by Truro Running Club on Sunday 4 October 2026. The course starts at Mount Hawke cricket club and follows coast path sections around Chapel Porth and towards Porthtowan before a loop around Tywarnhayle mine. The route runs on public footpaths and is available on Strava and on Ordnance Survey maps for recce.

The course includes technical descents, extensive mud, and a short river section. Course and event headquarters constraints limit entries to 230 runners. The organisers will donate £1 per runner to the National Trust for the use of their land. The event holds UK Athletics permit ARC/26/0754.

Entry transfers may be made through SiEntries for an administration fee until the end of 2 October so race numbers can be transferred. Offers to transfer entries may also be posted on the event Facebook group but the organisers ask not to be contacted about those offers. A full runners briefing will be sent by email in the week before the race.
