Tywarnhayle 10K
Porthtowan, United Kingdom • 12 Oct 2025
The Tywarnhayle 10K is a scenic trail race held in Cornwall, starting from Mount Hawke cricket club. The course features coastal paths around Chapel Porth, a route back towards Porthtowan, and a loop around the historic Tywarnhayle mine, offering spectacular views. The terrain includes technical descents, muddy sections, and river crossings, making it a challenging multi-terrain event. Limited to 230 runners due to course and venue constraints, the race is part of Cornwall's Multi-Terrain Race Series and supports the National Trust with a donation per runner. A children's race, the Twarnhayle24, also takes place, encouraging young participants to complete as many laps as possible in 24 minutes.
