The Tywarnhayle 10K is scheduled for Sunday 12 October 2025 and is organised by Truro Running Club. The event uses Mount Hawke cricket club as its headquarters and is part of Cornwall's Multi-Terrain Race Series. Entry opened on 8 July 2025 and closes on 12 October 2025. The minimum age for entry is 15. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £13.00 and Unaffiliated £15.00. Places are limited to 230 runners and the event is now full. The event holds a UKA permit (ARC permit number 25/0669).

Course and additional information

The route follows local footpaths, including coast path sections around Chapel Porth, a return toward Porthtowan and a loop around Tywarnhayle mine. The course description notes some technical descents, muddy sections and a short river section. A donation of £1 per runner will be made to the National Trust for use of their land. A separate children's event, the Twarnhayle24, follows the main race; it runs for 24 minutes, is open to ages up to 15 years, and each child receives a medal and a banana. Runners are advised that a full race briefing will be issued by email before the event. Transfers between entrants are permitted via the event entry system before 3 October.
