Two Hats One Mile

Two Hats One Mile is a Last Runner Standing endurance race held at Two Hats Ranch near Big Rapids, MI on June 20, 2026. The event uses a one mile loop on private land located about ten minutes from Big Rapids. The loop includes approximately 150 feet of elevation gain, woodsy trail conditions, some fast runnable sections, and a sandy downhill through an open field back to the start and finish area.

Field size is limited to 100 runners. Organizers will begin confirming entries on April 7 and will place additional registration requests on a waiting list; they reserve the right to add spots at their discretion. Every participant must be a registered runner and participants must be 14 or older on race day.

Runners are given 20 minutes to complete each loop and must be back in the starting corral and ready to begin the next loop to continue. No runner may accept aid while on the course. Specific procedures for declaring a winner require a solo victory lap within the time limit when applicable; if the final runner cannot complete the required loop within the time limit, there will be no winner.

Registration includes a runner ID bracelet, a T shirt, and a 12x12 personal recoup space near the corral. Proceeds will be donated to Montcalm/Mecosta Youth For Christ. No pets are allowed. Children under 14 must be supervised and are encouraged to remain within the participant designated 12x12 area or other marked spectator areas. Refunds and rollovers are not issued.
