The Don McMaster Memorial 12 Mile Creek Trail Half Marathon & 7k is the 38th annual edition of this event. It takes place in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, starting at 2 Lockhart Drive. The event supports the Niagara Rankin Cancer Run.
Available Distances
- Half Marathon (21.1 km): The historic route includes the first Welland Canal and the 12 Mile Creek Trail. It follows the Merritt Trail towards downtown St. Catharines, then heads back to the trails behind Brock University, passing "Hydro Hill" and descending the Niagara Escarpment. The field is limited to 175 runners.
- 7 km Run: This is a trail run that incorporates the latter part of the half marathon route, including "Hydro Hill". The field is limited to 100 runners.
- Half Marathon Walker Division (21.1 km): It uses the same route as the running division but starts 90 minutes earlier.
