Tunstall Forest (N) East Anglian League takes place on Sunday 18th January. The site is a large Forestry Commission plantation north east of Woodbridge and the courses lie mainly within the Viking Trail cycling area.

  • Green: 4.6 km, 16 controls, technically demanding.
  • Blue: 6.9 km, 22 controls, technically demanding.
  • Brown: 9.2 km, 26 controls, technically demanding.

Venue and terrain

Terrain is mainly cultivated coniferous forest with some open and mixed woodland areas. The map has few contours but includes relief features such as pits and earthbanks and varied vegetation. The map for this event has been updated and will be printed on waterproof paper at scale 1:10,000 with 5 m contour interval.

Entry, timing and facilities

Standard entry fees are listed for senior members, senior non-members and juniors, with higher late and on-day fees. Chip hire and SIAC chip hire are available, with replacement costs stated. SPORTident timing will be used with SIAC enabled; competitors must punch the start and finish controls. Registration, help point, download and a toilet will be sited near parking.
