Trail Running in the Chicopee Woods

The Trillium Trek Trail Run and Walk takes place at the Elachee Nature Science Center in Gainesville, Georgia. Participants navigate courses through the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve, a 1,440-acre protected green space. This location features Georgia's only National Dedicated Old-Growth Forest and includes diverse environments such as woodland, lake, stream, and wetland habitats.

The trail system within the preserve covers 12.24 miles and is characterized by rolling topography. Registered participants receive a leaf green 100% cotton T-shirt.
