The Trails & Tails Classic takes place on October 19, 2025 at Terra Cotta Conservation Area, 14452 Winston Churchill Blvd, Halton Hills, ON L7G 0N9. The event is organized by Canadian Canicross Sports and had 55 participants listed at the time of the posting. Parking is available, including accessible parking and two electric vehicle charging stations. Race kits are available for pick up at Picnic Area 1 pavilion.

The courses run on trails with sections of single- and double-track; the 10K is two laps of the 5K course and includes an aid station. Start waves of up to six teams will leave at two-minute intervals with teams spaced about 8 feet apart. Timing is manual by bib number; bibs must be visible on the front chest only. Aid stations provide water bowls and cups for dogs and humans. Finishers receive a medal and tee shirt in person; trophies and podium packs are awarded to the top three in each race category. Rules include no unregistered runners or dogs on course, no headphones, owners must clean up after dogs, and dogs must be leashed or on a bungee line for races. Yellow pinnies or ribbons are available on request for dogs that need extra space. A portion of registration fees and some fundraising proceeds support the Orangeville SPCA.
