Distances

  • 10 km
  • 25 km
  • 50 km

The 25 km distance is offered as two separate events - an early-start and a regular-start version - each with its own podium results.

Course and logistics

The course is mainly fast, groomed trails with some short, more technical sections. The 10 km is an out-and-back route around the reservoir that includes a short technical section on the Bruce Trail and a descent of stairs to the base of the waterfall where participants collect a small pin. The 25 km continues beyond the 10 km on the Beaver Dam Trail and mixes single track and double track with additional technical segments. The 50 km is two laps of the 25 km loop and has a 9 hour cutoff.

Planned aid stations vary by distance and include drink stations, a s'mores stop, and full aid stations at several points. The event is cup-less - participants must bring a collapsible cup or bottles. Pacers are not permitted except for participants over 65. Apparel items are provided: a hoodie for 25 km and 50 km entrants, a t-shirt for 10 km entrants with an upgrade option. Finishers receive a custom medal and prizes are awarded to the top three in each distance. Refunds are issued as a 100% race credit if requested at least 30 days before the event; bib transfers are allowed up to 5 days before.
