Trail of Honor Memorial Run

The Trail of Honor Memorial Run is the 6th annual event organized by the Fort Gibson American Legion and Trail of Honor Flags. It takes place on May 23, 2026, in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, with the venue listed as Legendary Fitness, 1121 E Poplar St. The event supports an effort to install 300 permanent flag poles, each with a 5x8 American flag; Trail of Honor Flags incorporated was founded in 2019 to continue and expand temporary flag displays from HWY 62 to the National Memorial Cemetery. Runners may choose to carry a flag during the course.

The course is USATF certified. Race timing is provided by I:40 Race Service. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by May 9, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis after that date.
